MRS. SCHERLE

Everyone is enjoying the books they have chosen to read.  We have everything from science fiction to adventure.  Now that we are looking at the last days of school for the year, we will be wrapping things up with tests and year-end reviews.  We will complete one more spelling unit this week and test on it as well.

SPELLING

A spelling unit will be done every two week beginning on Monday and ending on Friday of the next week.  On Monday, the unit will be introduced and a pretest will be given.  The rest of that week will focus on getting the book pages done.  On Thursday of the next week,  the word test will be given, and on Friday, the definition test will be taken and the unit will be due.  For review units, there will be a dictation test.  Every sixth unit is a review unit.
